One of the greatest lessons I have learned over the years is to be true to yourself. So many live with the pressures of society, their “friends”, family, and other traditional ideologies that they are directly and indirectly pressured into living.
Not being your authentic self comes with consequences and many moments of pain.
How do we avoid the torture of suppressing your true self? Find that courage inside you to stand tall.
Find that confidence that I know is hidden deep inside you to express who you really are.
If someone has a problem with you, always remember that this is a reflection of the discomfort they are feeling inside and has nothing to do with you. They are simply projecting the agony they feel inside. If they had a peaceful mind they would not be judging you. This is their problem, not yours.
Keep smiling. Keep pushing forward. You are amazing. You are beautiful.
You are perfect just the way you are.
